Decorating is my absolute favorite part of any party! I LOVE preparing a color scheme and party set up… down to every little detail. This year we made these fun wreaths with real cranberries. I love festive handmade wreaths and taking the time to make something crafty really put us in the holiday spirit.
They're really pretty and they last for days (we made ours about three days before the party and it looked totally fresh).
This year we collaborated with the Cranberry Marketing Committee, an organization that advocates for cranberry farmers across America! How amazing is that? Read more about them here. Super excited we got to work with them this Friendsgiving! They're also hosting a Cranberry Friendsgiving Photo Contest with us. More details on that below.
1.) Cut your red fabric into 3" wide strips. 2.) Wrap the fabric all the way around the Styrofoam wreath until the wreath is covered (the red fabric underneath will camouflage any spaces between the cranberries). 3.) Use the hot glue gun to attach cranberries to the fabric (as close together as you can!) until the entire top is covered. 4.) Fill in the inside and outside edges of the wreath as well until all the sides are covered. You may want to turn the wreath upside down for this part—it's easier to get to the sides that way. Glue the ribbon to your wreath hanger, add a bow, and you're ready to hang your cranberry creation!
THE CONTEST: Working with the Cranberry Marketing Committee, one lucky follower is going to win $2,000 just in time for the holiday season!
